Laurie Zangwill-Infantino

Laurie brings over 55 years of experience to the insurance industry. Laurie’s first job in insurance was in 1969 at Pacific Western Mortgage Company where she worked prior to completing her education at UCLA in 1971. Her degree is in Philosophy which was a great background to understand difficult text which has proven valuable in understanding insurance policies. She brings 55 years of experience in the insurance industry as a personal and commercial lines insurance producer; vice-president of an insurance agency; insurance consultant, industry expert witness and insurance educator. Laurie was on the national faculty for the Society of CIC beginning in 1984 making her one of the very first woman on the national speaking team.

Ray Infantino

Ray is a co-founder and CFO of the Insurance Community University. In addition to his duties as CFO, he is involved in customer service, university sales/renewals and quality control.


Marjorie Segale

Marjorie began her career as a commercial insurance broker and agency owner in Northern California and now has more than forty years in the industry. Marjorie is co-founder of The Insurance Community/University and president of Segale Consulting. She is an instructor and consultant to ICU and, additionally, acts as a risk and insurance consultant to commercial enterprises, insurance agents/brokers, insurance companies, public entities, and risk-sharing pools. In addition, Marjorie acts as an expert witness on insurance agents and brokers’ standard of care and as an expert consultant to attorneys involved in insurance-related litigation. Marjorie is a member of the American Association of Insurance Management Consultants (AAIMCo).

 

Barbara Thorvilson

Barbara is the Director of University Operations and Member Support. Barbara joined ICU at the inception in 2010 and has been instrumental in all aspects of site content; design and implementation of webinar programs; and liaison to university members.

Brad Zangwill

Brad is a co-founder of the Insurance Community/University. His vision was to create a community for the insurance industry that provided resources and top-notch insurance training. He is the liaison for ICU’s programmer in London and in charge of design of branded materials. He also operates a photography company specializing in corporate events and weddings.

Jennifer Stefan

Jennifer is the liaison to the various departments of insurance liaison facilitating course approvals in over twenty states. In addition, she oversees the five designation programs for certification purposes. In her capacity, she provides customer service to the Insurance Community/University members. 

Sharon Fuller

Sharon joined the Insurance Community/University in 2012 coming from IBA West/Insurance Skills Center. Sharon handles submitting CE credit to the various Departments of Insurance for all attendees of our webinars, assists with customer service; assists with administration for the designations, and helps to create and maintain the e-marketing of ICU. Sharon now has over 20 years of working in Insurance Education.

Julia Holm

Julia is the newest addition to The Insurance Community/University. Her primary functions are working with the designation programs and community resources.
