Laurie Zangwill-Infantino

Laurie brings over 55 years of experience to the insurance industry. Laurie’s first job in insurance was in 1969 at Pacific Western Mortgage Company where she worked prior to completing her education at UCLA in 1971. Her degree is in Philosophy which was a great background to understand difficult text which has proven valuable in understanding insurance policies. She brings 55 years of experience in the insurance industry as a personal and commercial lines insurance producer; vice-president of an insurance agency; insurance consultant, industry expert witness and insurance educator. Laurie was on the national faculty for the Society of CIC beginning in 1984 making her one of the very first woman on the national speaking team.

Laurie’s role in insurance education dates back to 1977 when she co-founded Insurance Skills Center for which she acted as president until 2010. Insurance Skills Center was sold to IBA West where she continued as president handing the educational programs for the trade association. In 2010, Laurie created her two “dream companies”: Insight Insurance Consultants, Inc. which provides consulting services to the insurance industry and the Insurance Community/University, LLC which is an on-line training including the development of five nationally recognized insurance designations. Her most recent project, and perhaps the most meaningful, was to work with a non-profit company—Neuro Talent Works to develop a propriety training program for neuro diverse individuals as a gateway to achieving jobs in the insurance industry.
