Description

Fulfill the California DOI Requirement!! This Course ensures that you will successfully meet the requirements of Section 1749.85 of the California Insurance Code - A Fire and Casualty Broker-Agent or Personal Lines Broker-Agent must have significant knowledge in the proper methods of estimating the replacement value of structures. Specifically, the Fire and Casualty Broker-Agent or the Personal Lines Broker-Agent that transacts, negotiates or sells homeowners’ (HO) insurance would be required to complete a minimum of three hours of homeowners insurance valuation training. After this class you will:

  1. Be able to explain various levels of coverage under a homeowners’ insurance policy
  2. Have an understanding of the elements that comprise the value of a dwelling and convey this to the insured
  3.  Be able to make recommendations of the appropriate levels of coverage
  4. Be able to differentiate between a homeowners policy and a dwelling property for

Wage and Hour claims are the single largest employment practices-related exposures for U. S. employers.  In recent years the FSLA (Fair Labor Standards Act) has been the target the legal industry.  Up until recently coverage has not been readily available partly due to the failure to identify the exposure and failure to understand that standard EPLI policies do not respond to this type of law suit.  This course will look at the exposures of Wage and Hour claims and the recent insurance solutions.  The course will cover:
